To install WordPress with cPanel, follow these steps:
Log in to your cPanel account.
Navigate to the "Softaculous Apps Installer" section and click on the WordPress icon.
Click the "Install" button.
Fill out the WordPress installation form. Here's what you'll need to do:
- Choose the domain name where you want to install WordPress.
- If you want your site to be accessible from the root domain (e.g., www.example.com), leave the "In Directory" field blank. If you want it to be accessible from a subdirectory (e.g., www.example.com/blog), enter the name of the subdirectory.
- Enter a name and description for your site.
- Choose an admin username and password. Make sure your password is strong and secure.
- Enter your admin email address.
- Choose a language for your WordPress installation.
Scroll down to the "Select Plugins" section. You can choose to install some popular plugins at this step, but it's optional.
Click on the "Install" button at the bottom of the page.
Wait for the installation to complete. Softaculous will notify you when the installation is complete.
Once the installation is complete, you can log in to your new WordPress site by going to www.yourdomain.com/wp-admin.
That's it! You've successfully installed WordPress with cPanel.
